World War II has just ended and the rebuilding of Germany begins. Just as thousands like him, engineer Edmund Erdmann forms a new company headquartered in Essen for the purpose of automation in process engineering.

Because of his thorough process knowledge, it is possible for Hans Erdmann to solve complex problems. He is also successful in building a partner relationship with the customers.
